Rayvn, the incredible creator behind Mudhoney, one of my fave furni stores of all time has recently began working on tools to make a photographer’s/bloggers/anyone’s life easier. Introducing the photoble… the concept of a miniroom that brings one to a different world in weird places eg.  above my skybox (where I rezzed it XD) with a few simple clicks. The whole thing can be derezzed too after use! Talk about saving prims. The shabby girl photoble has to be my favourite so far. It is every little girl’s dream room, my happy place. The light colours and adorable touches around the room are simply irresistable. I have been waiting for my brain to churn out an outfit which blends with the theme and was glad to be able to use it today. Well.. this is a snapshot of an elven in her room. XD <3 Tomoyo

Its probably the massive amount of hunts I did during last year’s halloween that made me dislike the combination of black and orange so much, especially during this type of the year where we get them in overdoses. XD Nina introduced a new term to me – Ganguro. For those that do not know, Ganguro is a form of Japanese fashion where you have tan skin, light hair and colourful clothes and bright makeup.  And that’s what I hoped to have achieved in this outfit.

Well.. we were talking and we realised that not many sl fashionistas have taken this route before! So here’s a mini challenge: Make a ganguro outfit! hehez.. post the links in the comments below and i’ll do a round up at the end of the week?

I love Sayuri and Sayuri’s creations. The sweet Japanese creator is back with more awesomeness to fill our girly sides. Sugar by sugarcube – a line inspired by Japanese RL Fashion and a store which has the cutest logo ever. XD I’m sweating like crazy in RL but I can’t help going with the fall sprit and don on sweaters after sweaters in SL. Hahaz this sweater from Lelutka satisfy my sweater obsession, well for the week. I love the baggyness and the way it drapes the body. Just wished that fully prim clothing like this come in more than one size hmmph… but i must say the glitch layer is really well-done such that the sweater doesn’t look weird with my AO, which really moves alot ^^ so yay! Maitreya shoes are yummy yea? Well … you better agree XD I’m typing at 1am again and my brain is totally dead.. these words is not making sense to me… so.. muah for now and happy belated diwali!

Held from the 26th September to 10th October, the Skin/Shape Expo Fair has been on the tip of our tongues this past weekend. Here’s some of my favourites from the fair…

Often, I feel that the act of wearing different skins will help us look a certain age of our liking. You can’t age backwards in RL unless you are Benjamin Buttons (forgive my lameness) , only forward. But SL, you can do it both ways teeehee. Pink Fuel’s new release, skye would be one which allow you to remain in the 20s. One thing I love about pink fuel skins would be that irresistable lips. Its glossy and gives a slight pout without straying too much into the sexy side. On the sidenote, I love the fact that Mochi, Tuli and some other designers send their demos through their subscribo, especially for these type of events where the items are only avaliable in a lag-filled sim at that moment. Save us the trouble of going to the fair just for demos but rather, I feel that it lets the consumer make a more fulfilling trip when they hit the fair. I really appreciate this little acts of designers in “improving the shopping experience”. The skye line comes in many “bold” makeups, with bright eyeshadows that really stand out. Secondly,  I wish every skin makers would provide brows option to complement the different hair shades. and I’m glad that both Mochi and Tuli (featured below) does so.

Tuli’s Bella is another skin which has been much praised about at the fair. It features a much more mature face from her last line Hope. Freckles seem to be the new “in” thing to include in skins. I’m not a huge fan of freckles but the ones that are well done, like these on Bella, definitely have a soft spot in my heart. If you look closely, there’s a little mole above the left side of the lips. XD There are only 4 makeups released at the moment and I’m looking forward to what other makeups Tuli has to offer this time round. *crosses fingers for some cute interesting ones hee*

Gala Phoenix Skins will always have a place in my heart, even though I haven worn it for some time. The old faces, lovely, breeze and vixen, have been updated with the new softer shading torso and new makeups. whee! Say hi to a little pixel devil lolx. She’s currently on break as evident from her lounge slippers.  Chicolotta (I can’t spell the sim name ever >.<) Gatcha’s Festival has finally begun and urgh.. the machines bestow you with the cutest things ever! *points to the painttube in my mouth XD* You might have seen the skin I’m wearing below on the feeds this past few days on nana and newreem but gosh I just have to gush all over it again. Sopha has been improving so so so much these past few weeks and the skins she churn outs day after day just amaze me again and again. Lillbe kept me smiling for a week but this one, magaret, is keeping me smiling for the month! Sopha was aiming for a “baby face” look and I guess she really did succeeded. The shading brings the skin the right amount of realism such that I really thought a raw shot I took that day has gone through extensive Ps-ing to make the skin that dreamy. teehee. The mouth (duh!) to the cute button nose.. im in love! Unfortunately, Magaret is still in development (though it already seems soo perfect to me) and will only be avaliable during the skin fair in november . Muah you Sopha for sharing these with me. I have been walking around the grid in this outfit for a few days now so I guess its time to blogged it. Modd.G and beetlebones recently delighted us with an onslaught of releases for the autumn season. Well not so. The high class and professional chic style remains in Sue’s new release while Moddipoo cuteness factor was transferred to her clothes as usual. The look below is simple, not much accessorizing to highlight the cute ruffles and plunging neckline on the Modd.G top. The skirt from beetlebones was modded to match. Fri.day recently have a sale and the phrase “buying a storm” might be an understatement. XD Ding For , a great blogger and friend is back on the grid. She has certainly been busy, creating more lovely shoes for our slfeets. The wool flaps, which has subtle gradients in its texture, are one of my favourite from the release. On the sidenote, this blog would not be updated as often as before due to my busy scheldue in school. Right now.. I’m just waiting for Xmas and holidays to come…
